Ross joined the board in 2015 and serves on the International Programmes Committee and the Personal and Compensation Committee.
He has been a lawyer in Wellington and Tauranga since 1976, operating principally in the areas of commerce and property.
He has had many years of experience being involved as a solicitor to, and member of, Boards of Directors, Societies and charitable organisations. He looks after a number of diverse church groups and is skilled in governance processes.
Ross had a brief time being involved at the coal face in a Micro Enterprise initiative in Mongolia, and knows first hand how blessed we are in NZ compared to the poverty and hopelessness found in so many countries. He believes that New Zealanders have generous hearts and will open up to the needs of the poorest of the poor given the opportunity and inspiration.
Ross is married to Kay and has four children. He is a keen motorcyclist and sneaks away with his friends as often as he can to visit the remote areas of our beautiful country.
